The Role of the Nurse

As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to work in a development-oriented and interesting role where you ensure that the right assistive devices are prescribed to those who need them.

In this role, you will be an important support resource within the product area of incontinence both internally at the Assistive Technology Center and towards our prescribers. You will provide advice and guidance to prescribers of assistive devices, and you will inform and follow up on the work. An important part of the job is to initiate, conduct, and evaluate training.

We continuously evaluate and develop the area of expertise and implement changes as needed. You will also staff our customer service and take orders.

You will play an active role in the development of the prescription process regarding incontinence, for example by monitoring prescription patterns. You will also work with assortment issues and procurement work.

The work area is exciting, and you have the opportunity to influence and create understanding of the importance of incontinence care as part of healthcare.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

The Assistive Technology Center in Jönköping is a resource for the entire county with approximately 75 employees. We cater to those who prescribe assistive devices and pharmaceutical-related products in the Region of Jönköping County and in the municipalities of the county. Our mission includes providing advice on products and how they are used, fitting assistive devices, supplying assistive devices, making special adaptations of assistive devices, reconditioning and repairing assistive devices for reuse, as well as informing and educating those who prescribe assistive devices.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in the field of incontinence. You are knowledgeable in your profession and have several years of work experience. It is an advantage if you have experience in assessing needs and prescribing different types of assistive devices.

To thrive with us, you should enjoy meeting people, like administration, and see a challenge in finding answers to both small and large questions. You are a cheerful, calm, and secure person with a good demeanor.

In this position, you will be able to influence and develop, but as it can be, sometimes changes take time to implement, and it is therefore important that you are persistent in your work.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

As travel within the county is included in the position, a B driver's license is required.
