The food service in Timrå municipality consists of 1 central kitchen, 12 receiving kitchens, and 33 employees located at various places in the municipality. We prepare and deliver about 4000 meals per day to the municipality's preschools, schools, and elderly care. To succeed in our mission, it is important to maintain high quality with the customer in focus and to promote good cooperation with other actors.

We are now looking for several cooks/meal assistants to work as substitutes in our various units.

You have

• Culinary education or other education/experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Knowledge of basic hygiene, HACCP
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in preparing special diets is an advantage
• Driver's license and access to a car.

We are looking for someone who can work extra at short notice and is service-oriented, innovative, with a genuine interest in cooking for our guests. You need to master the Swedish language both in speech and writing. Good computer skills as we communicate digitally, receive information via email, and work with digital systems.

As a substitute, you will have an interesting, fun, and varied job and will be booked as a cook or kitchen assistant at several different workplaces within schools and care homes in the municipality. It is important that you are flexible and have the ability to handle stress and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
