The Regional Management Administration is tasked with supporting the core operations' processes across various areas of expertise. The administration also provides support and qualitative materials to the regional director and politicians. The kitchens and restaurants are responsible for meal services to patients and visitors. In our kitchen in Sundsvall, we have 23 employees who each day provide approximately 500 patients with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We are now looking for two chefs for temporary positions in the nutrition unit at Sundsvall Hospital. The positions are full-time during the summer of 2026, with start dates to be agreed upon. The duration of the temporary positions may vary and will be determined by agreement.

Chef for the Nutrition Unit, Sundsvall Summer 2026 Job Responsibilities

In your role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious, well-cooked meals from scratch that are tailored to the patients' needs. You will work alternately in the kitchen with cooking as well as in the kitchen's tray setting and dishwashing. Service, work environment, good collaboration, and quality are the focus. You have a high ambition to prepare and serve our patients good and climate-smart meals and continuously work on food waste reduction. You will work on continuous improvements and development of the meals. Here you will work daytime on weekdays and weekends.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained chef
• Has knowledge of food hygiene and preferably special diets
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in similar operations and job responsibilities
