Are you eager to design the world's best product?
Husqvarna Group is a world-leading player with its Automower, a complex robotic lawn mower built on cutting-edge technical solutions. Being a mechanical designer at Husqvarna means not only developing a good mechanical function. Here, you will be challenged in every detail together with the team, from visual design, strength, and function to broader climate aspects and life cycle analyses, to ensure a first-class product in every aspect. Together is a key word in the Robotics department, and the family-like atmosphere permeates a climate where nothing is left to chance.
ABOUT THE POSITION
In this role, you will work with your team on the mechanical design of the Automower, focusing on both visual and functional design in CAD. You will primarily work in CATIA and design plastic components for mass production. Focusing on DFA and DFA2, the work is directed both towards new development projects and towards improvements of existing products on the market. The role is collaborative, both internally within the design team where all projects are done together, and with other departments such as the calculation team and test lab. Why not join the test lab out in the field to test the new product you just helped design?

Since Husqvarna Group has its organizational heart in the premises you will be based in, there is significant expertise and several specialist departments around you. This opens up opportunities for both simple collaborations and for taking the next step in your career.
