We are an expanding publicly traded company that builds and manages rental housing at a fast pace. Today, we operate from Copenhagen in the south to Gävle in the north. Our project managers in our construction department coordinate the entire construction project from gravel to house. We are now looking for a project manager for our operations in Construction East, focusing on projects in Örebro, but also in the rest of Mälardalen.

Your Responsibilities

As a project manager at K-Fastigheter, you will have a central and operational role in executing a construction project, from planning to completion. Throughout the project, you will lead the construction process by coordinating subcontractors on-site. You will also work to ensure quality, time, and financial management.

In the role of project manager, you are responsible for reporting and following up on forecasts for your projects. You are also responsible for environmental and workplace safety issues and for leading construction meetings in production. The role includes coordinating contacts with authorities regarding district heating, water and sewage, electricity, and fiber, as well as liaising with municipalities regarding start/end notifications and planning of traffic closures (TA plans). In the projects, you are responsible until the final inspection and handover to the end customer.

You will be part of a team consisting of project managers, site managers, and construction engineers. You report to the regional manager for the East within the Construction business area.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in managing large construction contracts. You need to have an engineering degree or other post-secondary education in construction. You should also have experience as either a site manager or project manager and be accustomed to leading complex projects with many parties involved. Experience in coordinating subcontractors, managing financial control, and timelines is important. Furthermore, we seek a person who enjoys being present on-site.
