TSM, Guard, Pilot and TMA – Road Jobs in Sweden (Örebro)

We at Road Jobs in Sweden are now looking for dedicated TSM (Traffic Safety Employees), guards, pilots, and TMA for road work.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Traffic directing:
   • Lead and direct traffic safely at road works according to applicable rules and safety regulations.
   • Ensure that traffic flows smoothly without negatively affecting the work.
2. Ensuring a safe working environment:
   • Protect the work team by setting up and maintaining clear barriers and signals.
   • Maintain good communication with the team and other stakeholders to minimize risks.
3. Use of equipment:
   • Place and manage signs, signals, and other necessary safety equipment.
   • Use communication equipment such as walkie-talkies when needed.
4. Guiding vehicles:
   • Drive pilot vehicles and safely guide traffic through work areas.
   • Ensure a steady flow to minimize disruptions.
5. Communication and reporting:
   • Report deviations, accidents, or obstacles to the supervisor.
   • Participate in daily safety briefings and meetings.
6. TMA:

• Operation of TMA vehicles

What we are looking for in you:

Qualifications:

• Valid B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

Personal qualities:

• You are responsible and meticulous, with a strong focus on safety.
• You have good communication skills and collaborate well in teams.
• You can work calmly and methodically, even in stressful situations.

Working hours and workplace:

• The work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• It is a physically demanding job.
• Working hours vary and include both day and night shifts depending on project needs.

Other:

• Company clothing and safety equipment are provided and must be used at work.
• The employee is responsible for following the company's safety regulations and procedures.
• Road Jobs follows SEKO's road and rail agreement, and this position is a temporary employment based on project needs.
