Your Role

Do you want to be the one who finds and implements the technology that will define Saab's production in the future? Are you passionate about combining technical expertise with project management and modern Lean principles? If so, you might be our next Technical Project Manager.

In this role, you will be the person who connects our needs with the most relevant and future-oriented technical solutions in the market. You will build a deep understanding of the business - from the daily challenges of production to long-term strategic goals - and identify which technical steps need to be taken to strengthen our flows, increase quality, and improve our competitiveness.

You will work both operationally and strategically: developing technical specifications, analyzing alternative solutions, conducting feasibility studies and investment calculations, and driving dialogue with suppliers and partners. You will follow up on tests and verifications, lead installations, and ensure a smooth handover to the operations.

The role entails overall responsibility - from idea and needs analysis to implemented and functioning solutions in production. The work is done in close collaboration with production, quality, purchasing, engineering, and other support functions. You will become a natural coordinator who creates engagement, clarity, and progress, even when projects are complex and involve many stakeholders.

Travel may occur between our sites and in connection with technical development together with suppliers.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in driving and leading projects, preferably within the technology or production field. You have a good technical understanding and feel comfortable discussing both detailed technical solutions and overarching strategic choices.

You have the ability to see the big picture without losing grip on the details. Analyzing complex problems, weighing different options against each other, and making well-founded decisions are things you thrive on. You work in a structured and methodical way, preferably supported by established project models and Lean principles, and you have a natural focus on continuous improvements.

As a person, you are communicative and collaborative. You thrive in the role of the spider in the web where you get to lead, coordinate, and create consensus among different functions.

You are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and have the ability to engage others in a common vision.
