About the Position

EL & PC Installationer is on a strong growth journey and is now looking for a designer with elements of calculation work for the office in Stockholm or Örebro. The role is new in the organization and has been created to meet increased demands from larger and more complex projects. As a designer, you will become a key person who lays the foundation for projects by creating technical solutions and calculations that ensure sustainable, energy-efficient, and customized installations.

EL & PC Installationer AB was founded in 1978. Today, there are four partners with nearly 60 employees. They are a genuine company that values close and long-term relationships. Understanding customers' varying needs is the cornerstone of their work. Customers range from large industries to private individuals; regardless, EL & PC is eager to provide a professional response.

Job Responsibilities

As a designer, you will have a varied job with both technical and economic components. The tasks include:

Calculating and estimating based on inquiry documents
Developing overall functions and material choices
Creating operation images and operation cards in CAD software
Participating in design meetings and developing solutions together with the customer
Selecting technical solutions with regard to energy, operation, and economy
Ensuring that solutions meet laws, standards, and customer specifications
Preparing bid calculations and offers
Assessing time consumption and risks in projects

Your Profile

Post-secondary education in property automation, property technician, or design, or equivalent experience
Documented experience in property automation, operations technician, and control and regulation work
Swedish and English in speech and writing
Driving license B

Meritorious:

Experience with CAD programs
Experience as an installer/assembler combined with further education in the field
