We are a medium-sized hotel and hostel located in central Gothenburg - at the top of Linnégatan opposite Slottsskogen. With our unique location, we offer proximity to all the city's entertainment and events, tourist attractions as well as the tranquility of Slottsskogen. We provide our guests with modern, fresh, and simple accommodation and strive to be the best option in our class. We are looking for independent, responsible, and driven employees.

We now want to strengthen our team with a receptionist every other weekend. As a receptionist with us, you are the first person our guests meet – and often the one they remember best. The job is independent and varied, and we are looking for someone who has a sense of service and the confidence to make decisions on their own.

Your Role

You will mostly work independently, which means you need to be comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions, and solving unexpected situations on your own. A typical day involves everything from welcoming breakfast guests, handling check-outs, preparing for self-check-in, managing bookings and payments, answering questions, and providing tips about Gothenburg, as well as other tasks that may arise in daily operations. You will also handle breakfast service during the low season, which includes simple preparation of breakfast, serving, and cleaning up afterwards.

You will work scheduled every other weekend (Sat-Sun), with working hours of 4-6 hours per shift, and you will work mornings and forenoons. We would like you to be able to come in a couple of weekdays for introduction and training. It is a big plus if you want to work with us during the summer and also work extra as needed, e.g., on public holidays.

Who We Are Looking For

The work is varied – and sometimes unpredictable. Therefore, you need to be both service-oriented and proactive: confident in meeting people, quick-thinking, and with a natural ability to create solutions. You:

• Are social, warm, and professional in your interactions with guests
• Have good communication skills in Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus)
• Are responsible and structured, but also flexible when things happen
• Enjoy working alone and making your own decisions
• Have previous experience as a hotel receptionist
