Forellplan's care and nursing home is located in the Sätra district. Forellplan consists of two five-story buildings connected by a walkway. There are a total of 124 apartments, of which 60 are aimed at people with dementia care, while the remaining apartments provide somatic care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a nurse with a big heart, where empathy, care, and consideration are your character traits? Then we have the job for you! We are now looking for engaged and cooperative nurses for Forellplan's care and nursing home where you can make a difference in our patients' lives every day.

As a nurse at Forellplan's care and nursing home, you will work with standard nursing tasks alongside five other nurses and a nursing assistant. You will work together in a team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other care staff. Together, you will work to promote the patient's health and well-being. You will be responsible for medical assessments, careful documentation, and registration in relevant quality registers. Rounds of patients will take place at the listed health center with the responsible physician. HSL documentation is done in Treserva, and planning is done in TES. Lifecare is used for communication between caregivers.

Your tasks include:

• Be responsible for nursing for a number of patients in the facility
• Perform medical assessments
• Plan, execute, and follow up on nursing interventions
• Sampling, infusions, dressings, and end-of-life care
• Work in a team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors
• Guide and delegate nursing tasks to staff and students
• Participate in our consulting activities during evenings and weekends

The position is primarily daytime work, but the schedule includes evening and weekend shifts. You will then work in our consulting activities, which include the municipality's care and nursing homes, home healthcare, and service and group homes within LSS and social psychiatry.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a skilled nurse who wants to work in a care and nursing home providing good care, quality of life, safety, and warmth to patients who need it the most. We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has experience working in elderly care or similar care
• Has a B driver's license and experience driving a car
• Has a good ability to make independent medical assessments
• Is confident in handling medications
• Is familiar with documentation in digital journal systems, preferably Treserva
