Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you will have a varied and important role in the daily patient care. Responsibilities include:

  • Sample collection and analysis in the PNA lab
  • ECG, blood pressure checks, and basic wound care
  • Assisting in examinations and minor surgical procedures
  • Reception and administrative work

You will work closely with doctors, district nurses, nursing assistant colleagues, and administrative staff. There is always good access to medical advice and support in clinical work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has:

  • Proof of protected professional title as a nursing assistant (or completed healthcare and social care program)
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good computer skills
  • Previous experience in a health center or emergency care, as well as experience with the TakeCare journal system, is an advantage.

Employment Type

Permanent employment, full-time, part-time can be discussed. Monday–Friday, daytime. A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.

  • Background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
