About the position
Within the section for Neuro, Intensive Care, Cardiology, and Emergency Care, there are occupational therapists and physiotherapists who meet patients in both inpatient and outpatient care. We are now looking for a physiotherapist for the Neurological Respiratory Clinic in Huddinge. Here, you will meet engaged and knowledgeable colleagues and have the opportunity to work in a stimulating and multidisciplinary work environment.
At the Neurological Respiratory Clinic, we receive patients with neurological diseases and respiratory issues from various patient flows. No day is the same, and therefore a willingness to develop personally and professionally is of great importance. We strive to provide patients with high-quality care and ensure safety in treatment. Daily, important collaboration occurs between patients, relatives and/or personal assistants, as well as other professionals.
We are now looking for a physiotherapist with knowledge in respiration who is ready to develop and work in this highly specialized area. Your tasks will include:
- assessment of patients' respiratory capacity
- assessment and fitting of respiratory aids and techniques for clearing secretions from the lungs and airways
- ventilator fitting when respiratory capacity is reduced.
Weekend work and supervision of students are a natural part of your role. Your tasks will also include contributing to the development of care programs and workflows based on evidence and patient needs.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed physiotherapist with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare
- At least 3 years of experience working with respiration
Meritorious:
- Experience working in acute care and/or outpatient care
- Master's degree and/or specialist competence.
