IES Södertälje is looking for a school nurse for grades 5-9

As a school nurse, you will work closely within the IES Student Health Team, as well as with management, teachers, mentors, and student support staff.

The position primarily targets students in middle and high school and includes standard tasks according to the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish National Agency for Education, such as: - Health talks and health checks - Open reception for students - Doctor's appointments - Vaccinations - Preventive and health-promoting work - Health information in e.g., lesson form/seminars for students

You will work closely with the current school nurse and collaborate with the principal and other professionals in the student health team to support students' development towards educational goals. Collaboration with the municipality and other agencies, as well as contact with guardians, is a natural part of the work.

Qualifications: - Licensed nurse with specialized training in: child and youth, district nursing, or school nurse program - Previous experience as a school nurse is an advantage
