IES Södertälje is looking for a school nurse for grades F-5

As a school nurse, you will work closely in the IES Student Health Team, as well as with management, teachers, mentors, and student support staff.
The position primarily targets students in primary and middle school and includes standard tasks according to the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish National Agency for Education, such as:
- Health conversations and health checks
- Open reception for students
- Doctor's appointments
- Vaccinations
- Preventive and health-promoting work
- Health information in e.g. lesson form/seminars for students
You will work closely with the school's current school nurse and collaborate with the principal and other professionals in the student health team to support students' development towards educational goals. Collaboration with the municipality and other agencies, as well as contact with guardians, is a natural part of the job.
Qualifications:
- Licensed nurse with specialist training in: child and adolescent, district nurse, or school nurse program
- Previous experience as a school nurse is an advantage

- Has a genuine interest in children's and adolescents' health and development
- Is flexible, committed, and proactive
- Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in a team
- Is passionate about health-promoting and preventive work both in the classroom, school, and outside
