Job Description

You will work with a large patient flow with opportunities for research in several areas. There is a strong interest in education and teaching at the clinic, with good reviews in mentorship and an active research program with around a hundred published scientific articles per year.

The position as a resident physician is located in the clinic's various units and also involves ongoing participation in on-call activities. Some of our residents are course assistants for the medical education's basic training in pediatrics. External rotations are included to some extent in the position, primarily in child and adolescent psychiatry and pediatric oncology. At the beginning of the residency training, a plan for the entire education is made, and all residents participate in Södersjukhuset's development program in leadership, organization, and scientific work. Currently, about a hundred doctors work with us, of which about 35 are in residency positions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in general pediatrics and emergency pediatrics. You should be flexible, have good judgment, and thrive in a sometimes fast-paced environment. Another important quality is that you have a good ability to build relationships and collaborate with different types of people. You have your own drive and take responsibility for your education. You are also creative and contribute ideas to develop the organization.

Requirements

Licensed physician.

Meritorious

Experience in clinical service within pediatric medicine as well as research is meritorious. Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1.
