The Hand Surgery Clinic at Södersjukhuset is the only specialist clinic in Region Stockholm for the treatment of injuries and diseases of the hands.

The clinic has regional responsibility for Stockholm and Gotland counties. The clinic's integrated rehabilitation team consists of 14 staff members, occupational therapists and physiotherapists, jointly organized under their own unit manager.

Description

The work within hand rehabilitation includes pre- and post-operative training and treatment in close collaboration with other personnel categories.

We treat patients of all ages, from children with congenital malformations to severe hand trauma. Most of the patient work is conducted on an outpatient basis. The work is very stimulating with a high pace. Quality assurance and research and development issues are an important part of the work.

Qualifications

Licensed Physiotherapist with good anatomical and biomechanical knowledge and understanding of the upper extremity. We prefer that you have experience from primary care, hand surgery, orthopedic or pediatric practice. A master's degree is an advantage.
