Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into regional and local healthcare areas. The local healthcare area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Center for Surgical Operations, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these aim to provide good and accessible care.

The Psychiatric Clinic consists of about 250 employees. Both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as psychiatric compulsory care, are provided here. The outpatient care includes an Emergency and Assessment Unit, which includes eating disorder services and the SPOT program, two adult clinics targeting individuals aged 26 and older, a Young Adults clinic targeting individuals aged 18-25, as well as a medical unit, MBT team, and an elderly team. The inpatient care consists of a general psychiatric ward and a dependency ward with an associated detoxification unit. The dependency care also includes outpatient clinics and LARO clinics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a licensed psychologist. You will work both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team. We offer varied tasks in the form of talk therapy, neuropsychiatric assessments, evaluations, as well as opportunities for group therapy and supervision. You are expected to be an active part of the clinic's diagnostic investigation responsibility where you will participate in assessments.

At the clinic, we work together across many different professional categories; doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, caregivers, and nurses, as well as medical secretaries, with a common goal of empowering patients and hopefully improving their quality of life.

QUALIFICATIONS

A licensed psychologist is a requirement. Experience in psychiatry is an asset, as well as experience in neuropsychiatric assessments.

The ability to work both independently and in a team is a prerequisite as we utilize individual competencies and integrate them into the team with the patient in focus.
