We are now looking for a school nurse for Björkskolan in Skellefteå and Bruksskolan in Ursviken. Björkskolan is a single-parallel school for grades 6-9 and Bruksskolan is a single-parallel school for grades F-5. The position's scope at both schools together is 40%, but there is some room to discuss the size of the position.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in the school's mission and who wants to contribute to the work for a health-promoting school development. As a school nurse, you will be part of the school's student health team in close collaboration with the principal, school counselor, and special educator/special teacher. You will be an important cog in the health work together with students, parents, educators, and colleagues in student health. Collaboration internally and externally is an important part of your work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse. It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a school nurse and are used to working with children and adolescents. You will work based on the assignments the school has and participate in the school's development work based on the school nurse's role regarding promoting, preventive, and early interventions in the school. Building trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is an important task in your work.
