The surgical operations in Skellefteå work in a team-oriented manner within the fields of general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ear-nose-throat surgery, and pediatric surgery in cooperation with the respective clinics.

We are now looking for an operating room nurse for the surgical operations in Skellefteå.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operating room nurse with us, you contribute with knowledge and commitment. You are responsible for the patient's safety, care, and nursing before and during the operation within your specialty area in a technology-intensive environment. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize are important qualities. You work independently in close collaboration with the surgeon while being part of an operating team. Since Skellefteå Hospital is a teaching hospital, supervision of students is also included.

There are several different specialties and a mix of planned and emergency operations that make the work varied and developing. We are a mix of new and experienced colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education in surgery. Experience from an operating unit is an advantage.
