Summer Job in District Heating

Do you want a rewarding summer job where you can work practically alongside other summer interns? With us, you will have the opportunity to perform maintenance work on the district heating network while making an important contribution to a sustainable society.

Your Task

In your role, you will work together with three summer interns to perform simple maintenance tasks on the district heating network, such as scraping, painting, and labeling the air vents on the district heating network. In the morning, you and your colleagues will meet at our office in Marieholm, and then go out to various locations in Gothenburg to perform work where it is needed. Other tasks related to operations and maintenance may occur.

Your Team

Göteborg Energi's district heating network is up to 1300 km long and stretches across all of Gothenburg and surrounding municipalities. In the Network Technician unit of our facilities department, 14 experienced and knowledgeable employees work to ensure that Gothenburg residents have a safe and reliable energy supply every day. Our mission involves preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as operational measures, on the company's networks for district heating, district cooling, and natural gas.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is currently studying a technical field, such as in high school or vocational training. You are motivated by working together with others and have the ability to take responsibility for ensuring that the work is carried out safely and correctly. Since most of the work takes place outdoors, it is important that you enjoy physical work in an outdoor environment.

A valid driver's license (B) is required to travel around Gothenburg in the company's vehicles.
