We are currently seeking an interim project manager for an assignment in urban development projects for a municipality near Gothenburg. Do you have several years of experience leading complex development or exploitation projects in the public sector? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

The Community Building Administration works for good and sustainable community development. Our mission is to create an efficient and sustainable community building process, contribute to increased housing construction and more business establishments, and provide residents with good conditions for business, recreation, and a rich leisure life.

Responsibilities

As a project manager, you will lead the municipality's complex projects from early idea phase to completion and financial follow-up. You will be responsible for the economy of the development and exploitation projects. You will lead cross-functional project teams with both internal and external specialists, procure contracts (often in collaborative or partnering form). You will ensure that the projects meet the municipality's set goals regarding ecological and social sustainability, climate, equality, and good economic management. You will manage complex risks and report to the steering group. Part of the assignment is to drive active citizen dialogue and collaboration with businesses and other stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent, as well as several years of experience leading complex development or exploitation projects in the public sector. You have experience working within public exploitation and/or development projects. You have a good understanding of the community building process and exploitation economy, as well as good knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Public Procurement Act, contract law, and the Planning and Building Act.

It is an advantage if you have qualified training in project management, BAS P/U, as well as experience with collaborative contracts and knowledge of the Public Water Services Act. Experience working in a politically governed organization is also an advantage. We would also like you to have experience with EU projects or other external funding sources. Furthermore, you have a driver's license (B), good system skills, and are comfortable communicating in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

You will be employed by Jurek Talents. The position is full-time (100%). The start date for the assignment is immediate and lasts up to six months, with the possibility of extension.
