Coordinator at Göteborg Energi

Your Task

In the role of coordinator, you are responsible for leading and planning the unit's preventive maintenance work based on an established maintenance plan and daily management to ensure that our networks for district heating, district cooling, and gas are reliable, resource-efficient, and sustainable in the long term.

You work systematically to follow up on the group's efforts, drive feedback, and contribute to improvements in work methods, routines, and technical solutions. You will follow up on the technicians' individual goals through regular follow-up conversations to support their development and provide conditions for good performance.

An important part of the role is to administer, plan, and prioritize operational shutdowns in close collaboration with other maintenance planning and the control center at Sävenäs.

You investigate and develop technical solutions for maintenance needs, both planned and urgent, and lead contracts with external expertise. You act as the client and have BAS-P responsibility, participate in standby duty in the long term, and represent the unit in internal and external working groups. The role also includes contributing to the organization's common tasks as needed.

You participate in overall planning, prioritization, and budget work and are responsible for the unit's metrics while working on the development of the mapping system.

Furthermore, you contribute to the development of management systems, operational manuals, routines, and instructions. The role also involves purchasing materials and services, as well as performing delegated tasks within the Work Environment Act.

Your Team

The position is located in the Technician Network unit, one of six units within the Facilities department. The team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Göteborg Energi's distribution networks for district heating, gas, district cooling, and regulator stations, as well as a limited V/A area. We also conduct inspections on the gas network for Göteborg Energi Gasnät AB.

You will lead a team of 12 experienced technicians working with our distribution networks. The team plays an important role in managing and developing our infrastructure and, not least, ensuring that the people of Gothenburg receive the energy they demand.

Your Competence

You have a technical university degree or vocational education in construction and civil engineering, or you have more experience-based competence that is deemed equivalent. A B driver's license is required as the entire Gothenburg area is our work field.

Experience in operations and maintenance activities as well as contracting issues is a prerequisite. Likewise, you have worked in maintenance systems and are comfortable with digital tools.

Leadership experience is an advantage, but even more important is your leadership ability. You are proactive, self-driven, and skilled at building good relationships both within the team and with external partners. You have clear and engaged leadership, work systematically, and possess good analytical and problem-solving skills — qualities that enable you to drive technical issues forward with a holistic perspective without losing important details.
