Are you handy, flexible, and ready to make a difference for both colleagues and guests? We are looking for a Caretaker who is passionate about keeping our facilities and outdoor environments in top condition. If you enjoy pitching in where needed and can quickly turn problems into positive solutions, you might be the one we are looking for!

Who is First Camp?

Our goal is clear - to become the world's leading camping chain, which naturally requires our lawns to be well-kept, all lights to be on, and that we continuously care for both the big picture and the details. Our destinations would fall apart without our caretakers, an incredibly important role at each location!

Who are we looking for?

We prefer that you have previous experience in caretaking or property maintenance, although it is not a requirement. You are handy, enjoy physical work, and appreciate varied workdays. With an eye for detail and the ability to quickly adapt to new situations, you can easily create an overview and prioritize tasks. You see solutions where others see problems and are always ready to deliver that little extra for our guests.

As a person, you are positive and helpful, enjoy sharing yourself, and appreciate a good team spirit. Education in a relevant field is an advantage. The same applies to holding a snowmobile license and wheel loader license, experience in park and green space maintenance, as well as knowledge in electricity, water, and ventilation. Good communication skills in Swedish or English are seen as an asset to receive instructions and interact with guests professionally.

What do we offer?

At First Camp, many have started in your position and then climbed within the company. You will have the opportunity to develop, learn new things, and meet people from all over the world.

Conditions

Conditions We are looking for a Caretaker for the summer season with varying hours (20–40 hours/week). Working hours may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends in accordance with the Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union collective agreement. There is an opportunity for continued employment after the summer season. The employment may, depending on the needs of the business and the employee's performance, transition to a permanent position.

Application

We conduct selection and interviews on an ongoing basis, so apply today.

We work competency-based in our recruitments and focus on finding the person who best matches the job's requirements. For final candidates in the process, a background check may be requested.

As a first step in our selection process, you will take a short recruitment test that helps us ensure a fair and accurate match.

This could be the beginning of something fantastic. We look forward to your application!
