Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a difference in people's everyday lives while being part of a warm and supportive team? Right now, we are looking for a Nursing Assistant for Centrums Home Care who wants to work during the day. With us, you will have the opportunity to provide personal care to clients in their own homes based on their needs, assistance decisions, and individual implementation plans.

As part of our team, you will have a meaningful role where you contribute to safety, independence, and quality of life for our clients. You will also have the role of a primary care contact, which means you are an important link for continuity and security in the client's daily life.

Your tasks will include providing support with:

• Personal care and hygiene.
• Social interaction and conversation.
• Medication management.
• Cleaning, laundry, and other household chores.
• Accompanying to activities outside the home - and much more.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained Nursing Assistant, and experience in the healthcare profession is considered an asset. You need to be able to provide proof of a protected professional title or approved grades/diplomas from healthcare and social care education. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written (a passing grade in SFI course D is required). To get around to our clients, you need to be comfortable cycling.

You have a positive outlook on development, are flexible, and see new changes as fun challenges. As a person, you should have a genuine interest in helping our clients in need of support in their daily lives. One of your strengths is the ability to see their individual needs, and you should be driven by a desire to create the best conditions for a meaningful and secure everyday life. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to take responsibility for what is required and contribute to a good atmosphere in the staff group.
