Verification and Validation Engineer (VoV Engineer)
Are you an engineer looking to work on projects with technically advanced systems? Are you good at building and maintaining good relationships at work and have an easy time collaborating with others? Do you want to work on qualified projects in an expanding organization with the goal of making Sweden and the world safer? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
About the position
As a Verification and Validation Engineer (VoV Engineer) with us, you will work with validation and verification activities for marine systems. You will work closely with project management during all phases of our acquisition, modification, and maintenance projects. You will define the systematic verification and validation work and develop plans and governing documents. This also means that you will plan, execute, follow up, and report on the work carried out. An important part of the assignment is also to promote a good, impartial, and business-like relationship between customers and suppliers.
If necessary, you are expected to act as a project manager and lead projects or sub-projects within the business area.
The position is based in Stockholm. Business trips may occur, both domestic and international.
About you
You are a qualified civil engineer or university engineer with a relevant specialization or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. The position also requires a B driver's license and good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
If you have previous experience in verification, validation, testing, or trial activities with technically advanced systems, we see it as an advantage. Education in and/or experience working with project management is also meritorious. We also view positively if you have experience working in projects.
As a person, you have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You initiate activities and achieve results and take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you are skilled at making new contacts and maintaining relationships at work. It is also important that you are collaborative, enjoy working together with different competencies, and have a good ability to listen, communicate, and resolve challenging situations constructively.
We place great importance on personal qualities.
