Job Description

Do you want to help ensure that products comply with applicable regulations and contribute to a safer and more sustainable market? We are now looking for an experienced and curious consultant in Product Compliance who wants to work with our clients on some of the most relevant regulations within the EU and the rest of the world.

As a consultant with us, you will support our clients in interpreting, implementing, and following up on requirements according to applicable legislation. You will play an important role in ensuring that our clients can place their products on the market in all sales countries.

The assignments vary over time but may include:

• Reviewing technical documentation, CE marking, and risk assessments
• Conducting risk analyses and GAP analyses
• Driving CE marking and certification processes
• Communication with authorities
• Investigating legal and market-specific requirements and translating them into technical specifications

Who are we? 

Our Compliance & Quality Management (CQM) section consists of about 25 employees in Mälardalen, Malmö, and Gothenburg. The section is led by Service Area Manager Lars together with our Team Leader Jacob. Among our employees, ranging from recent graduates to seniors, there is a broad competence in quality, compliance, and business development. We work with products throughout their lifecycle and processes across the entire organization in various industries and organizations.   

Qualifications

We prefer that you have:

• Relevant higher education in engineering, environmental science, or equivalent
• At least 2–3 years of experience working with product legislation, preferably in manufacturing industry or as a consultant
• Good knowledge of one or more of the following regulations: battery regulation, machinery directive/regulation, product safety regulation, REACH, RoHS
• Ability to interpret and apply EU legislation in practice
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We would be especially pleased if you also have:

• Competence in RED and the new cybersecurity requirements
