Technical and Service Administration, AVA Unit

The AVA unit encompasses the operations of waste, water, and sewage, and it is within the waste industry that you will work. You will be based in Gäddede where your colleagues are the staff working with water and sewage and the municipality's operations group in Gäddede. The workgroup in Gäddede is small, so good collaboration is important.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a driver, you will work with the collection and transport of waste within the municipality.

Your tasks will include:

• Collecting and transporting residual and food waste as well as paper and plastic packaging with a side-loading two-compartment truck
• Handling vehicle computers, handheld devices, RFID equipment, and reporting deviations
• Performing daily maintenance of vehicles and superstructures
• Carrying out certain placements and retrievals of waste containers
• Participating in other waste work as needed

In your work, you will have daily contact with customers, which requires a good service spirit and a professional approach. On-call duty may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required for the position:

• C driver's license
• Completed training for Work on Roads
• Valid professional competence certificate (YKB)

It is advantageous if you have experience in truck driving as well as working with vehicle systems and digital work tools. The work is largely digitized, which means you need to be comfortable using digital systems in vehicles, computers, and mobile devices.
