We are now strengthening our operations with machine operators in Hissmofors, starting immediately or as agreed. Your tasks will involve loading timber and production materials onto transports, primarily trucks, from our unit in Hissmofors using a forklift.

The job also includes planning and maintaining order in our warehouses. You will work closely with your colleagues, who are both other machine operators and operators in the production process, and the position may involve both machine operation and work as an operator.

Who are you

We are looking for someone with a high school education and experience working as a machine operator who desires a varied job with machine operation as the core of your daily work. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a machine operator in industrial operations. You should be quality-conscious and responsible. It is important that you have good teamwork skills and a willingness to continuously work on improvements and develop together with your colleagues. We see it as important that you prioritize safety and want to develop in your work.

Requirements for the position:

• Driver's license B

• Forklift license B1

It is advantageous if you have:

• Forklift license C1/C2

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

The position is permanent and full-time. The shift schedule can be both K2 (three shifts: morning/evening/off week) and I2 (two shifts: morning/evening every other week)

Norra Timber's operations include three sawmills, three processing units, and a pole factory. We produce nearly 800,000 cubic meters of sawn timber, 250,000 cubic meters of planed timber, about 60,000 turned pine poles, and 150,000 chip bales annually. About 60% of timber sales are for export. The association also owns 30 percent of the Husum Pulp AB pulp mill. Within the Norra Skog group, over 600 people work, and the turnover amounts to approximately 5 billion kronor.
