As an Airport Officer at Åre Östersund Airport, you will be part of a dedicated team that ensures the journey for our passengers and airlines runs smoothly and safely – every day.

What does the role entail? In the role of Airport Officer, you will work on the airport's Airside, loading and unloading baggage and providing service to airlines and crews. Over time, you will receive training as an airport firefighter, which imposes physical demands on you.

In this role, you will have a varied daily routine where you will also contribute to other tasks, such as cleaning facilities & aircraft, assisting travelers with special needs to and from the aircraft, and ensuring that vehicles and equipment are in good condition.

The position is 100% and involves shift work with varying hours between approximately 04:30 and 24:00, which means you need to be able to get to and from the airport at irregular hours, including weekends.

Who are you? We see that you have:

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Completed upper secondary education

• Good physical condition

• Are responsible and stress-resistant team players with a strong work ethic and high safety awareness.

Meritorious

• Previous experience working at an airport

• C driver's license

As a person, you enjoy working in a team, have good collaboration skills, and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You are solution-oriented, flexible, and take responsibility for finding practical solutions when problems arise.
