JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant at Pilbacken, you support/help the residents with planning and implementing daily activities based on an individually designed implementation plan. The tasks include personal care, transfers, medication, escorting, shopping, cleaning, and laundry. Together with the users, you create a meaningful everyday life for them. It also includes preparing shared meals and cleaning common areas.

The tasks vary depending on the residents' functional and activity abilities, needs, and individual circumstances. The work can sometimes be physically demanding, for example, in connection with transfers. The job also includes administrative tasks where documentation is an important part. The work involves close collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Challenging behavior may occur. As staff, you work from a professional and low-arousal approach. As a care assistant, you participate in business development, quality assurance, and skills development together with your colleagues and your manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified nursing assistant or has other education that the employer deems equivalent. We would like you to have knowledge and experience of somatic diseases and care interventions based on this. Experience in similar work and work in a politically governed organization is advantageous, as well as knowledge and experience regarding mental illnesses, low-arousal approaches, and motivational interviewing.

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. As a person, you are flexible, engaged, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. You are professional in your demeanor and have good self-awareness. Documentation is an important part of our work. You need to master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing and have good computer skills.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
