Our Operations

Public Dental Care in Region Uppsala is undergoing an expansive phase in the field of Orofacial Medicine. Elderly dental care is an important part as Sweden's population is getting older, but other groups with special needs, such as those with medical diseases and intellectual disabilities, also make up our patients. The mobile service handles both oral health assessments and treatments at certain group homes. Our operations focus on accessibility and good service for our patients.

You will join an organization that is at the center of events. It is important for us to be cooperative and helpful; we work independently when required and together when needed. We perform oral medical investigations and treatments, conduct dentoalveolar surgery, and receive infection investigations from healthcare. The clinic also has research in oral cancer with several areas of development.

In addition to specialized dental care in Orofacial Medicine and mobile dental care, we also provide anesthesia dental care. We also have a psychologist at the clinic for CBT treatment with our dental-anxious patients.

As a dental nurse, you will be offered continuous development of your skills. Our fine facility with 7 rooms in new, fresh premises is located in an attractive area. The distance to Uppsala Travel Center is about 2 km, so there are good commuting opportunities.

Your Mission

We are looking for you who are an engaged dental nurse and who seeks a varied job with good development opportunities. You enjoy having your own patients and feel a commitment to medical and elderly dental care. You have good experience in general dental care, and it is a merit to have experience in medical and/or mobile dental care. As a person, you are meticulous and have the patient in focus. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is planned to be divided between work at the Specialist Clinic Orofacial Medicine Seminar and the Mobile Clinic. For internal applicants, the possibility of combining this position with work at the current clinic can be discussed.

Together with colleagues at the mobile clinic, you will work to provide dental care to the elderly and people with disabilities, either in a residence or in their own homes.
