The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly and disability care, home healthcare, and nutrition unit. The Health and Care Administration has over 1,000 employees. The largest group of employees consists of healthcare personnel such as nursing assistants, personal assistants, nurses, and chefs. However, there are also many other professions within our operations. We are all key persons, and our activities are characterized by employees who are engaged, responsible, and competent.

The nursing organization in Ludvika municipality includes work towards both ordinary and special housing, divided into three areas. In one of our areas, we also work with LSS and psychiatry. The work involves a full-time measure of 38:15 for day, evening, and weekend shifts according to the schedule. For night shifts, the full-time measure is 34:20 according to the schedule.

Our operations are in constant development, and we are working on projects to implement Good and Close Care. Job Responsibilities

  • You will work with standard nursing tasks within municipal elderly care.
  • You will be a supervisor for care staff in medical care.
  • You will be able to guide and support care staff within the administration.

Qualifications

  • Swedish registered nurse is a requirement.
  • The employer places great emphasis on personal suitability.
  • You should have good collaboration skills, be responsive, flexible, and proactive, and have a holistic view of the operations.
  • You should have knowledge and ability to guide staff in their daily work.
  • You should be able to work independently and goal-oriented.
  • You should be able to motivate employees and enjoy working in a team.
  • You should have the competence to work with IT support and have good computer skills.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required.
