Attendo Topelius is a nursing home located in Nyby in northern Uppsala near old Uppsala. We have room for 80 happy seniors spread over four floors, half of whom live in dementia departments, 20 residents per department.

Job Description

We are now looking for a trained nursing assistant who is driven to work with people and wants to make a real difference for our customers every day. You have the ability to empower and support customers in all aspects of daily life.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a wonderful team with other nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We work with case management and advocacy functions.

The position is a permanent employment of 70-90%

It is advantageous if you have experience in care work in elderly care as well as delegation.

We are looking for you with nursing assistant training who has experience in nursing work.

Requirements

• Nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

You enjoy providing good service, creating great relationships, and want to give quality of life to our customers. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about caring for the elderly and can see the individual's needs. Having a leadership role is stimulating, and you enjoy mentoring your colleagues in health and medical care issues.

As a person, you are meticulous and engaged with customers and their relatives. You find it easy to collaborate, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.
