The Rehabilitation is a county-wide specialist service located in five locations in Dalarna. Each unit has Child and Youth Rehabilitation as well as Adult Rehabilitation with interdisciplinary teams that have medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. The mission of the Rehabilitation is to offer individuals with congenital or early-acquired disabilities combined specialist interventions to achieve the best possible functional ability and a good quality of life.

Within the Rehabilitation, there is a broad competence in the area of disabilities. Placement can be discussed based on our various reception centers. As a physiotherapist/physical therapist with us, your work will be educational and varied, where teamwork with other professionals is central. Our team consists of occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists/physical therapists, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, nurses, special educators/special teachers, and managers.

Your tasks as a physiotherapist/physical therapist include closely consulting with patients and their relatives to assess, initiate treatment, and follow up on the patient's motor functions and development in various environments. You provide interventions to help the patient maintain, develop, and/or compensate for physical abilities. You assess needs and prescribe, as well as follow up on assistive devices.

Our work is carried out in close collaboration with our healthcare neighbors, municipal services, assistance providers, relatives, and others.

Requirements:

• Physiotherapist/physical therapist degree/license.
• Class B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Several years of experience
• Experience working with children and preferably within rehabilitation

You are proactive, flexible, and have a good ability to prioritize. You have a commitment and interest in working with our target group. You enjoy working in a team, but you also have a good ability to work independently. Through your professional approach and communicative ability, you create good relationships with both colleagues and patients and their relatives, and contribute to a positive work climate. You are happy to share your knowledge and ask for help when needed. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
