Palliative medicine involves work within specialized palliative home care, focusing on alleviating symptoms and maintaining quality of life physically, mentally, socially, and existentially. We operate in 5 locations: Sollefteå, Örnsköldsvik, Härnösand, Sundsvall, and Ånge.

The team in Palliative Medicine Sollefteå/Kramfors consists of a total of 3 full-time employed nurses with a pleasant work community. The unit is located at Sollefteå Hospital with a branch located at Kramfors Health Center. The work involves standard nursing tasks. We work together with doctors and care for patients at home. The role includes working independently, being flexible, and collaborating both within and outside the team as well as with relatives. We offer a free, responsible job with opportunities for development.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-04-01 or by agreement. Place of employment is Sollefteå.

• Standard nursing tasks
• Caring for patients at home and specialized palliative care at home

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse with specialist training
• Has at least 5 years of experience working as a nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Has good knowledge of English in both speech and writing
• Has a valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you:

• Are a trained district nurse
• Have work experience as a nurse in palliative home care
