Coastal Robot Division is Hiring Soldiers

We are looking for individuals who want to be employed as soldiers in the Robot Unit belonging to the 32nd Coastal Robot Division, which is part of the 3rd Naval Combat Flotilla.

Serving in the 32nd Coastal Robot Division places high demands on the individual. Teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work independently are skills that are required to handle the sometimes physically and mentally demanding tasks at the division. Physical training should be a natural part of your daily life.

Qualifications

  • Approved military basic training (completed or ongoing) with a recommendation for employment
  • Approved grades in Mathematics 1 (A), Swedish 1 (A), and English 5 (A) from high school

Meritorious

  • Heavy truck driver's license
  • Heavy personnel carrier driver's license
  • Machine gun training
  • UAS/drone pilot
  • Group leader trained
  • Communications trained

Personal Qualities

As an employee, you are expected to take responsibility, handle a fast pace, and have the ability to take initiative. We appreciate curiosity, attentiveness, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

Information about the Swedish Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:

The 3rd Naval Combat Flotilla is a task force in the Swedish Navy. The flotilla has the capability to control maritime areas, shipping routes, and maritime traffic, conduct operations on and under the surface, and clear mines in harbor areas, coastal waters, and open seas. The unit operates both nationally and internationally. Ships and staff train both sailors and officers to be immediately ready for action. The flotilla also continuously contributes personnel to various international missions.

Year-round and around the clock, the flotilla contributes to security by patrolling and monitoring Swedish territorial waters.

Employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required. A security screening with a background check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment also entails an obligation to be placed in wartime.
