About the Job

As a care assistant, you have an important societal role.

Vegahusen, located at Vegagatan 55, currently has a total of 138 apartments distributed across three buildings.

We are now looking for new colleagues who want to work as care assistants focused on dementia or somatics.

We value your commitment and competence. You are the one who makes everyday life function and become meaningful for our residents. In your work, you start from the healthy aspects of the resident and utilize the individual's resources.

You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual conditions in their own home, which is part of the care and nursing home. Your tasks include everything from encouragement and support in social activities, personal care, assistance during meals, and collaboration with relatives.

Some tasks are performed under the delegation of licensed staff. You are also a contact person who helps the resident articulate their needs and wishes.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

Requirements

• We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate for protected professional title, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a care assistant when the new regulations were introduced.
• Computer skills to document in IT systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious

• Experience from work in care and nursing.

In your role, you will meet many people, which requires you to work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your meetings, and always have the residents' best interests in focus.

The workday can sometimes be different from what was planned because you work with people, so you maintain calm, balance different demands, and prioritize your tasks.
