We are now looking for a dentist on a temporary contract who wants to make a difference!

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Öckerö, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The position includes, among other things:

• Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room.
• Conducting both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care.
• Being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

Today, we have a total of 19 employees. The clinic is characterized by a cheerful and positive atmosphere, both among staff and patients. We continuously work to develop our operations and always keep the patient in focus.

You can reach us by public transport from central Gothenburg without the need for transfers. If you drive, we have staff parking next to the clinic.

Qualifications and Profile

• Licensed dentist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates for interviews at the clinic.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to complete supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.

The position is a temporary contract for approximately 1 year.
