About us and our job opening

The Medicine Department mainly consists of two specialties, but we also have a responsibility for general internal medicine.

We work in teams together with nursing assistants, doctors, and pharmacists.

In the department, we investigate, care for, and treat patients with lung and kidney diseases. We collaborate with outpatient clinics where admitted patients are often followed up after their hospital stay. Patients often have complex care needs, and as a nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in several medical specialties.

The position is a one-year temporary contract.

Working hours

The employment covers all hours of the day, and your working hours include day/evening shifts on a rolling 10-week schedule, with duty on 2 weekends out of 5. During the holiday period, a separate holiday schedule is created for the department, which may involve different working hours during this period.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a Swedish nursing license and at least four months of experience in the profession. As a person, you are driven, goal-oriented, positive, engaged, and have a clear desire to work in a team-based environment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
