About the Department

The Radiology department offers you a developing and creative workplace with pleasant meetings between colleagues, patients, and their relatives. The department is an important part of the care chain, which means you will meet many different patients from various departments and flows throughout the hospital. The department is high-tech and is constantly evolving to better meet today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.

Radiology is located at Sahlgrenska, Östra, and Mölndal hospitals but is part of a common operational area to promote collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you will work in a team with radiology nurses and doctors. Together, you will work based on the different competencies you have, as well as the patient’s unique conditions and needs. Your work will include preparing and assisting in radiological examinations, with the primary task of ensuring that the patient feels comfortable before, during, and after the examination. Our operations run around the clock, which means you will work all hours of the day.

About You

You are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a few years of experience in the field. Experience working in hospitals/emergency care/radiology is considered highly meritorious. Together with us, you want to drive radiology forward in an exciting development. It is valuable for us that you have a drive to constantly develop your skills and working methods.

As a nursing assistant, you should be secure and stable. You also need to be flexible and creative to adapt your work to a varying pace. You enjoy collaborating with others and are good at communicating, which is a significant part of the work in radiology, as you have many contacts with both patients and other staff at the hospital. It is important that you, who are starting with us, have both the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and deliver quality work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
