We are looking for a caring and experienced nursing assistant with a warm heart and a genuine commitment to people. In this role, the daily care work in home care is combined with a special responsibility for our vehicles.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you play a central role in our clients' lives. Your tasks vary according to each individual's needs, but may include:

• Personal care - assisting with personal hygiene and dressing.

• Social support & conversation - creating security through presence, conversation, and care.

• Supervision & support as needed - providing support during transfers, meals, and other situations that require extra attention, as well as contributing to making the client's daily life easier.

• Documentation - carefully documenting the support and care you provide, in accordance with assistance decisions and implementation plans.

• Emergency alarms - quickly responding to urgent needs from clients who have triggered alarms. We work on behalf of Österåker municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.

In addition, you will have extended responsibilities:

• Vehicle responsibility - ensuring that the home care vehicles are clean, fueled, serviced, and ready for use.

We are looking for someone who shares our view that care is done with the heart – and who also wants to contribute to structure and safety in the team. To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• Nursing assistant education - you have a recognized education and preferably previous experience from working in home care.

• Fluent in Swedish - you speak and write fluent Swedish and have a good ability to document according to current procedures.

• Driver's license B - you are a safe and experienced driver, which is required in our work with clients.

• Cycling experience - you are a confident cyclist.

• Responsible & stress-resistant - you see the big picture, plan your work, take initiative, and handle stressful situations calmly and decisively.

• Independent & cooperative - you enjoy working independently but are happy to collaborate with colleagues when the situation requires it.

• Empathetic & communicative - you have a genuine desire to help, are attentive to different needs, and find it easy to communicate with both clients and colleagues.

• Flexible, solution-oriented & meticulous - you are used to a changing work environment, work systematically with a high quality awareness, and take responsibility for your work.

• Digitally skilled - you have experience using mobile phones and documenting in digital systems.

Working hours: Monday – Friday (07:00-15:30) Employment rate: 80-100% Employment: permanent, with a 6-month probationary period. Location: you will start from our office in Åkersberga and work within Österåker municipality.
