The home care service in Karlshamn consists of eight units distributed throughout the municipality. We perform tasks according to the Social Services Act in the form of care measures, service measures, meal distribution, and emergency alarms.

We are currently looking for nursing assistants for the home care area of Asarum.

Job Description:  
Our goal is to work with the user's needs at the center. To achieve this goal, we as a staff group see the person first and are attentive to the user's wishes and needs. We are solution-focused and always strive for everything to be as good as possible.  

As a nursing assistant with us, you will have varied tasks. Depending on the assistance decision, you will work based on a daily rehabilitation approach where you support and help individuals who have been granted home care to manage their daily lives. Users may need help with personal care, various household chores, services such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and medication management.

Your tasks also include documenting and being a contact person as well as establishing implementation plans. 

You will work in accordance with the Social Services Act (SOL) but will also perform Health and Medical Services (HSL) tasks after delegation from authorized personnel. There will be both solo work and double staffing. Staff use their phones to access work schedules, report their visits, open users' door locks, and document, as well as to read implementation plans.

Working hours are distributed across days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications: 
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and preferably has previous experience in the field. You should be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is important that you can attend to people's needs and feelings. You should have the ability to organize and structure work and have good collaboration skills.

The job requires qualities such as flexibility, independence, the ability to see the big picture, resilience to stress, empathy, and initiative. The person we are looking for must have an understanding and respect for politically governed activities. Knowledge and experience in using a computer as a work tool are also required. The job also requires a B driver's license for manual transmission.
Personal suitability is of great importance.
