The mission of the Medical Clinic is to provide specialized care in the field of internal medicine and its various sub-specialties.

About the Job

We are now looking for a new colleague for the medical outpatient clinic located at the lung clinic in Karlshamn. As a nurse with us, you are an important part of an engaged team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and medical secretaries.

At the lung clinic, you will meet patients with various lung diseases who are undergoing investigation, treatment, or follow-up. This includes patients with lung cancer, COPD, and fibrosis. The work is varied and combines patient-centered care with administrative tasks, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad competence in the field of pulmonary medicine.

Your role includes working as a contact nurse for lung cancer patients, where continuity and security for the patient are central. You will also participate in the clinic's medical work where doctors perform procedures such as bronchoscopy and drainage insertions.

Introduction and training will take place alongside experienced colleagues, and you will gradually take on more responsibility in your daily work.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with a few years of work experience.

We are looking for someone who is positive and contributes to a good work environment. You should also be able to organize your work easily, be meticulous and responsible. You should enjoy working in a team and feel energized by a varied workday in a fast-paced environment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
