RESPONSIBILITIES

The Planning Unit of the Community Building Administration is looking for a new water project engineer. Our unit is an integrated function in Växjö Municipality's community building process.

As a project engineer, you will work with investigations and planning of various infrastructure projects. This can involve everything from the development of new areas to the maintenance and development of existing infrastructure within the municipality. The role of the project engineer varies between being an advisory expert, investigator, and detailed project designer.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Planning of water and land and street
• Technical calculations, dimensioning of water, stormwater, and wastewater systems
• Water and stormwater investigations
• Modeling of stormwater and heavy rainfall, including retention, purification, and innovative solutions
• Water, land, and street investigations in early detailed planning stages.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant engineering degree in civil engineering / road and water engineering.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

• Planning of water, land, and street
• Preparation of tender documents according to AMA Construction
• Quantity take-off and cost estimation
• Modeling of stormwater and heavy rainfall
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Mike+, TUFLOW, and ArcGIS.
