Kalmar Castle is looking for an engaged and creative marketing coordinator who wants to work closely with the entire castle's operations and contribute to developing our brand, visibility, and communication.

Kalmar Castle is a department within Destination Kalmar and is owned by Kalmar Municipality. Destination Kalmar works to create a sustainable and attractive destination with unforgettable experiences all year round. Kalmar Castle is an important part of Swedish history and the best-preserved Renaissance castle in the Nordics, we convey history while caring for and preserving our cultural heritage in Kalmar's most famous brand.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a marketing coordinator, you play a central role in our marketing efforts both strategically and operationally.
You are responsible for:
- establishing the annual marketing budget and marketing plan
- coordinating, implementing, and following up on marketing efforts
- planning, producing, and ordering marketing materials in various channels
- ensuring correct and consistent use of the castle's graphic profile
- supporting colleagues in profile and communication issues
- ensuring that materials are in place on time
- assisting the marketing communicator with social media, web, and digital advertising as needed.
The work involves regular contact with operational managers, external suppliers, agencies, and printing companies. You actively contribute to the development of the castle's communication regarding content, expression, and working methods.

QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience and a university degree in marketing, media and communication studies, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge in business economics or other economic education that meets our needs.
Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
Experienced writer with a sense of target audience and tone.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Good knowledge of the Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience in managing multiple parallel projects and working towards deadlines.
Meritorious:
- Additional language skills, especially German
- Photography
- Sales experience
- Experience in exhibition production
- Economic knowledge
- Experience with web publishing tools
- Historical knowledge
