SUMMER JOB AT VIMMERBY ADVENTURE – INSTRUCTOR!

Do you want a fast-paced and fun summer job where you get to work outdoors, meet happy visitors, and be part of a wonderful team? Vimmerby Adventure is now looking for engaged employees for the summer vacation and weekends a little before and after – a perfect job for you who love adventure, customer contact, and working in an active environment!

No driver's license required, but keep in mind that there are no buses to this location.

Your tasks:

• Safety briefings: Provide clear instructions on how climbing works and what safety rules apply.
• Instruction on the courses: Show how to use the courses and safety systems correctly.
• Monitoring climbing: Move around the park and ensure that guests follow rules and instructions.
• Assistance on the courses: Help visitors who need support during climbing.
• Rescue operations: Conduct rescues as needed according to training.
• Personal climbing: Climb the courses for supervision, assistance, and inspection of the facility.
• Safety and order: Contribute to a safe, secure, and well-functioning park environment.

During the low season, additional tasks may include:

• Welcoming visitors: Receive both groups and guests.
• Cash handling: Manage bookings, payments, and sales of ice cream, coffee, and cold drinks.
• Equipment assistance: Assist visitors with putting on harnesses and helmets.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Keep the restrooms clean and ensure that the rest of the park is well-maintained, including areas where visitors eat or rest between climbs.

Who are you?

• Service-oriented: You are positive, social, and enjoy working with people.
• Responsible: You have a strong safety mindset and take your responsibilities seriously.
• Detail-oriented: You have an eye for details and ensure that both equipment and park environment are in top condition.
• Meritorious experience: Experience in customer service or climbing is a plus, but not a requirement!
• Clear and pedagogical: You are comfortable speaking in front of groups and explaining instructions.
• Physically active: You enjoy a moving job outdoors and are comfortable working at heights.
• Calm and solution-oriented: You can handle stressful situations in a controlled manner.
• Meritorious experience: Experience in climbing, outdoor life, or similar is a plus but not a requirement.
