What does the role entail?

As the Ice Cream Bar Manager, you have a central role in leading the ice cream bar forward – both through people and results. You are responsible for the ice cream bar team and ensure that everyone receives the right introduction, coaching, and scheduling support to succeed in their roles. At the same time, you work purposefully to follow up on key KPIs, such as sales and guest satisfaction, and actively drive the business towards set goals.

In your daily work, you take responsibility for purchasing, assortment, and inventory, and you ensure that presentation, selection, and service contribute to high sales and satisfied guests. You pay attention to routines and quality standards – everything from hygiene and operations to ensuring order and cleanliness in both the ice cream bar, shop, and outdoor seating area. And just like everyone on the team, you serve ice cream, meet guests, and step in practically when the business requires it – you lead by presence and good example.

The role also means that you keep an eye on the overall operation around the ice cream bar, which may involve assisting with the rental of pedal cars and pedal boats when guests want a little extra fun. In short: you are the hub that keeps the ice cream bar running efficiently all summer, and you create the conditions for both the team and guests to have a top-notch experience.

Who are we looking for?

You are driven by developing both people and the business and enjoy coaching others in a fast-paced environment where each day can look a little different. You have a strong service focus and enjoy working towards clear goals and results. As a person, you are solution-oriented, engaged, and good at creating team spirit. You need to be able to communicate in both Swedish and English.

Previous experience in service, sales, or leadership is a plus – but your willingness to grow and develop with us is equally important.

To communicate with both guests and colleagues, you need to be proficient in Swedish and English.

Conditions

We are looking for an employee for the summer season with varying hours (20-40 h/week). Working hours may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends in accordance with the hotel and restaurant union's collective agreement.
