SUMMER JOB AT TREEVENTURE VÄSTERVIK – INSTRUCTOR!

TreeVenture Västervik is now looking for engaged employees for the summer vacation and weekends a little before and after – a perfect job for you who enjoy adventure, customer contact, and working in an active environment!

Your responsibilities:

• Safety briefings: Provide clear instructions on how climbing works and what safety rules apply.
• Instruction on the courses: Show how the courses and safety systems are used correctly.
• Monitoring climbing: Move around the park and ensure that guests follow rules and instructions.
• Assistance on the courses: Help visitors who need support during climbing.
• Rescue operations: Conduct rescues as needed according to training.
• Personal climbing: Climb the courses for supervision, assistance, and inspection of the facility.
• Safety and order: Contribute to a safe, secure, and well-functioning park environment.
• Welcoming visitors: Greet both groups and guests.
• Cash handling: Manage bookings and payments.
• Equipment assistance: Assist visitors with putting on harnesses and helmets.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Ensure the park is well-maintained.

Who are you?

• Service-oriented: You are positive, social, and enjoy working with people.
• Responsible: You have a strong safety mindset and take your responsibilities seriously.
• Detail-oriented: You have an eye for details and ensure that both equipment and park environment are in top condition.
• Meritorious experience: Experience in customer service or climbing is a plus, but not a requirement!
• Clear and pedagogical: You are confident speaking in front of groups and explaining instructions.
• Physically active: You enjoy a moving job outdoors and are comfortable working at heights.
• Calm and solution-oriented: You can handle stressful situations in a controlled manner.
• Meritorious experience: Experience in climbing, outdoor life, or similar is a plus but not a requirement.
