Do you want to lead and develop a technically important operation that is crucial for operational reliability and availability in a complex industrial environment? As the manager of Pipes & Pumps at SSAB Luleå, you will have overall responsibility for a section that is of great significance to the facility's function and long-term development.

As the manager of Pipes & Pumps, you will have overall responsibility for owning, developing, and following up on operations within treatment plants, pumping stations, and other areas of responsibility. You will lead the operation towards set goals through clear governance, prioritization, and long-term planning, focusing on ensuring good availability and reliability in the facilities.

The role involves overall responsibility for workplace safety, environment, economy, and resource utilization within the section. You will drive a structured improvement process and ensure that decisions and working methods are implemented in practice.

Your assignment includes close collaboration with other managers and functions within SSAB Luleå to create consensus, coordination, and a common direction in the organization.

Your main areas of responsibility

• Lead the operation towards set goals through clear governance, prioritization, and long-term planning.
• Be responsible for workplace safety, environment, economy, and resource utilization within the section.
• Drive and follow up on a structured improvement process and ensure that decisions and working methods are implemented and adhered to in the organization.
• Collaborate with other managers and functions to create a holistic perspective and effective cooperation.

About you

• You are confident in your personal leadership and have a coaching approach.
• You take initiative, follow up on decisions, and work closely with the organization in dialogue with employees and teams.
• You work in a structured manner and have the ability to create clarity in both daily operations and development work.
• Previous experience in leadership and maintenance work is an advantage.
• You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.
