Grepit AB works with hardware and software solutions in technically advanced projects, both for external clients and internal development initiatives.

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer who wants to be part of our team. In this role, you will lead a team of developers while also working hands-on with embedded systems and hardware development – from architecture and design to testing and verification.

In the role:

  • Lead a team of developers by providing support, reviewing their work, and contributing to time estimation and planning
  • Work both strategically and operationally, focusing on architecture, quality, and long-term technical decisions
  • Be a natural advisor to both the development team and project management, and a role model in how good engineering is practiced
  • Ensure quality in the team’s deliveries and implementations
  • Develop hardware architecture at the system level and create effective holistic solutions
  • Design and test complex multi-layer PCBs, including mixed-signal design
  • Contribute technical ideas and improvement suggestions – from concept to implementation and testing
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and mechanical engineers
  • Report progress, results, and insights to project coordinators, stakeholders, and management

Your profile:

  • You have solid experience in embedded hardware development and enjoy working closely at both the schematic and system level
  • You are a graduate engineer in electrical engineering or have equivalent experience in qualified hardware development
  • You have experience in hardware development for embedded systems or similar technical fields
  • You are accustomed to working in modern PCB CAD and simulation environments (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or similar)
  • You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Knowledge in high-speed design and experience in layout of high-speed multi-layer PCBs, including microvia technology and controlled impedance traces
  • Good experience with advanced PCB design tools and simulation environments
  • Knowledge of designing hardware according to relevant electrical safety standards
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and assembly machines
  • Experience in design for high power and high voltage
  • Experience in leading teams or being responsible for technical mentoring of colleagues

We offer:

  • A collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Opportunities for career development and further advancement within the company
  • Real technical influence
  • Freedom with responsibility
  • A culture that values pragmatic engineering and smart compromises
